Join us as we highlight the contributions of community groups & champions working to make Schomberg a vibrant place to live.

Several community groups in Schomberg are celebrating milestone anniversaries this year & we’d like to celebrate them with you! Jane's Walk participants will be able to tour the Hall, learn about the history of the community, & celebrate community milestones. Groups have been asked to highlight a historic perspective on their work & past contributions to the community. Snacks & refreshments will be provided.

Event Details:

• Drop-in festivities! Meet King Township's Jane's Walk chapter at the Schomberg Community Hall (first floor).

• Walk through the Hall & learn about the milestones that community organizations are celebrating!

• Snacks & refreshments provided. Let us know if you have any dietary restrictions during sign-up.

What is a Jane's Walk?

Jane’s Walk is an annual festival of free, community-led walking conversations inspired by Jane Jacobs. On the first weekend of May every year, Jane’s Walk festivals take place in hundreds of cities around the world. Jane’s Walks encourage people to share stories about their neighbourhoods, discover unseen aspects of their communities, and use walking as a way to connect with their neighbours.
